United by shared goals, our local and global partners amplify the APA movement and support dramatic change in education outcomes for all children.
Our local partners’ deep understanding of Haitian history, culture, and customs make them the best possible people to shape APA’s programming.
APA has 116 local partner schools in five (5) partner communities, namely: Gros-Morne, Gonaives, Mirebalais, Boucan Carré, and Hinche. Our partner schools are where we place our cohort teachers. By filling in open positions in schools, APA’s teacher-leaders are able to increase the school’s capacity and create maximum impact in raising education outcomes and altering students’ life trajectories.
From investing in teacher leaders to conducting relevant workshops and collaborating with government authorities, our local partners are all moving towards educational justice.
Much like the Haitian diaspora, our global partners play a critical role in reinforcing Haiti's educational transformation and enriching its rich cultural identity.
